New low-grade wellhead Equipment for high-pressure fracturing operation
This technology uses 35MPa, instead of 70MPa, wellhead to carry out fracturing work, which substantially lowers the cost for those wellheads which work below 35MPa while the fracture pressure is 50~60MPa. The new technology protects the valves of the wellhead units from being damaged by fracturing sand, ensures the safe operation of wellhead, and prolongs its lifespan.
After wellhead installation, some downhole operations are carried out, such as perforation, fracturing, evacuation, oil test, etc. Production will start when downhole operations finish.
In order to meet the requirement of high-pressure fracturing operation, expensive high-grade wellhead has to be used, although the pressure required for production is much lower than fracturing pressure.
